The Kwara State Polytechnic Governing Council, on Tuesday, announced the expulsion of 45 students from the institution for examination malpractice and other related issues.
The institution's Assistant Registrar, (Academics), Abubakar Yahaya, speaking in Ilorin, said the expulsion was sequel to the approval of the governing council of the school.
He said 30 were from the Institute of Finance and Management Studies, 10 were from the Institute of Basic and Applied Sciences and five from the Institute of Technology.
He warned the expelled students to stay away from the institution as they had ceased to be students of the polytechnic.
He also directed them to immediately hand over all the institution's property in their possession to the heads of their various departments or appropriate authority.
