JAMB, the Admission and Matriculation body, faced with the task of
organizing Admissions into Higher Institutions in Nigeria has begun
uploading names of admitted students from lists sent to the body by
various Institutions across the country.
From now on, until the end of the year, Jamb will continually update her
portal with 1st, 2nd, 3rd admission lists as they are sent in from
various school.
This is NOT A NEW PROCESS because the same procedure was carried out in
2011, with some schools even referring their candidates to check the
Jamb's Portal for their admission status.
In some instances, Jamb will be forced to move some candidates to their
2nd and 3rd choices of institutions where more students are required. In
other cases, some candidates will be offered double admission due to
conflicting lists coming from both the school and Jamb. The student will
therefore be required to reject one of the admission.
We therefore call on all candidates who are yet to be offered any admission to check the Jamb Portal at least once a week.
